Apply Online

You may also begin the application process for legal aid online through CLEAR*Online. You will answer questions about your finances and legal problem. If it looks like you are eligible for legal aid, you will be referred to a legal aid program for the next step.

If you need help with a consumer (including debt collection, consumer fraud), housing, or government benefits problem, NJP will call you after you complete the online application.

If you have a different legal problem, you will be directed to call the CLEAR Hotline or another legal aid program to finish the intake process. If no legal aid program can help you, the site will offer links to legal information that may help you solve the problem.
